Monday Inspiration #15

Melanie has a blog known as The Crafty Cupboard.
Melanie is a stay-at-home-mom with two lovely little girls,
living in the heat of Arizona.
She loves to sew and craft but doesn't like cooking.
She loves all things music and interior design.
As she says herself: I am so inspired by the creative talents of others, I decided to have a place to document ideas to try in the future as well as things I attempt myself.
And it's an awesome place, with a full page of free tutorials.
Her posts and pictures are so inspiring,
if you haven't try sowing yet,
once see this site, you want to try it all yourself.
I just love her style of writing and the effort she puts in her blog.
She makes a variety of lovely things but the most I love are the beautiful dresses and skirts for her girls, and gorgeous quilts in the most fantastic colours.
Go take a look yourself and be amazed.

Monday Inspiration; I love sowing

Monday morning, the sun is shining and I thought lets do some Monday Inspiration about sowing. Now that has nothing to do with the sun ofcourse, but in my mind I have some ideas of making pillows for the outdoor chairs. And with the pictures I made from the books I have in my home, you can get inspired too, although there no pictures of pillows for outdoor furniture, the pictures are lovely anyway.

The upper 4 pictures are in the Reader Digest book shown on picture 1.
The lower 4 pictures are in the agenda from 101 Woonideëen shown on picture 5.

Have a nice day!

kidsroom accessories

I just made a few pictures of the fun and lovely fabrics paintings that I've made a while ago for the rooms of Daniel and Lucas. My problem is actually the hanging of those nice things. Find a spot and then drill the holes. I always find it such a waste to stick it to a certain point. But there are also those rails so you can drag them along the entire length of the room, maybe I should consider that.

This is the first attempt I made, I know I still need a few things to change, but the result is fine, when you considering I'm doing this for the first time;) I just have to figure out how I can sow it without "bending" that's more or less the only thing wrong with I think.
Dit is de kamer van Lucas.
This is Lucas his room.

Have a nice crafty day.
