What´s on the needles #1

Every week I want to make a blogpost,
with some nice pictures and sometimes a pattern
of what's on my needles that week.
This is replacing my Monday Inspiration,
because I'm out of inspiration at the moment.
Not that there is no inspiration at all,
I'm just not sure what to share and not ;)

Last week I started a baby blanket,
made from dark pink and mixed pink colours.
The yarn is 100% acrylic because my little sister
can not touch real wool, it's too itchy for her.
It's actually for my niece, the 4th child of my little sister.
I'm for the 7th time auntie again :)

I'm almost done and then I need to make a nice edge around it,
I'm not sure how to do that,
but I think with double crochet stitch.
I'm gonna post more pictures when it's all finished.

The pattern I use is from Charami NL
It's a Dutch translation from Attic 24.

Hope you have a lovely creative day!

TWIS / DWZI #18

This week I saw...

The stamping virus has gotten me too.
All those gorgeous stamps I got from my lovely mother,
except the birdie one I bought myself.
And now I need to learn how to stamp properly ;)

This week I also saw that my little collection with creative books got expanded.
Actually in this picture you find the book that will be the prize
in the 100 followers GiveAway :)
I'm not telling what book it is yet...

Have a good weekend :)

Handspun Yarn

A few days ago I made some new
handspun yarn for the shop.
All the yarns are made from 100% Merino Wool,
and weight 100 grams.

I love the colour range in all the yarns,
I think there pretty for making
some nice accessories :)

All the handspun yarn are made from soft wool.
It's a mixture of colours.
The colours change as the plying is done 2 or 3 colours.
There are some thicker and thinner parts in it,
to give it its lovely whimsical and authentic handspun look.

TWIS / DWZI #17

This week I saw...
Or actually last week for the first time,
and for many weeks to come,
Colin, our Border Collie X Shetland Sheepdog puppy.
He is a very sweet little dog, with a playful character.
We already love him very much!
The kids want to be with him, and pet him whenever they can,
when he is not in his sleeping place.
He is still a puppy so he sleeps a lot!
